The massive assaults started on July-2 night since
then four major Myanmar Army bases have fallen into the resistance hands. All four
bases are ony about ten miles from Lashio. Maingtin on the Lashio-Maingyaw Road,
Mansan-yaykya on Lashio-Thibaw Road, Nantpaung on the Lashio-Maingyae Road, and Nyaungkone on the Lashio-Namtu Road,
The relentless assaults started simultaneously at 23:00-hour and involved thousands and thousands of rebel troops. Every battlefield in Shan-North and few others in Mandalay Division are now filled with many tens of thousands of Palaung ethnic rebels in barand-new TNLA uniforms.
The sudden
appearance of such a massive Palaung Army is totally unexpected as the Palaungs
are the smallest ethnic tribe in Burma. Much, much smaller than even the small
Kareni (Kayah) Ethnic Group.

The Palaungs are supposed to be less than 600,000 in Burma, according to latest Myanmar census. So how did they raise an at-least 20,000-strong well-equiped&trained army in a very short period? Of course they have their cousins in China and they all came when CCP (China Communist Party) ordered them to march into Burma.
Only military-age fit and healthy males well familier
with Chinese TYPE-81 Assault-Rifles and Light-Machine-Guns. Some have already
been seen manning heavy anti-aircraft machine guns at Kyaukme and Naungcho
towns and actively shooting down Myanmar Air Force gunships.

For many months now, Myanmar Army’s affiliated social-network sites have been accusing China of supplying tens of thousands of so-called vounteers wearing TNLA uniforms to participate in the Shan-North battles. Like what China did during the 1970s and 1980s in supporting the rebelling BCP (Burmese Communist Party).
Infamous Myanmar
Army Loyalist “Ye Lin Thu” specifically wrote on July-5 that at least 20,000
heavily-armed Yunannese Chinese men entered Shan-North via the Mantsan-Nammhyaw-Naungmon
Way in last few days in the batches of 3 to 4,000 men each batch.
Also China
delivered hundreds of 4wd-Crown-cars filled with weapons and ammunitions via
the Manwee-Mantone Way to be stockpiled at the vicinity of Mogoke Town. From
Mogoke the arms were distributed to the battlefields at Sintgu, Mattayar,
Naungcho, and Kyaukme towns.
Gen-Z Burmese too are on the Ethnic Armies’ Side!
Last three
years, Chia has also armed the NUG’s PDF units such as Mandalay-PDF battalions
with modern TYPE-81 automatic Assault rifles and LMGs, military-drones, and deadly
107mm-Shock-Rockets to smash the Maynmar Army’s demoralized troops out of their
fortified trenches.
While USA has
been pussyfooting with only providing the NUG with green-cards and fat-salaries
to live on in Washington, CHINESE BEAR is actively trying to put our poor Burma
into the hands of her proxy armies such as KIA, AA, MNDAA. TNLA, and UWSA all
Chines speaking people from the border regions.
Civilians Fleeing Fortified Lashio City
Myanmar Army is
digging inside the City while town folks are fleeing in many long
vehicle-convoys well before the City has been sealed off. The tanks and
armoured-carriers normally stationed at City-Center have been already
re-positioned at the perimeters while the Armed-Militia has also been moved
into the city outskirts to face the expected assaults.
Many hundred civilians
were already killed by indiscriminate shellings of 107mm Chinese Shock –Rockets
by the rebels outside and the heavy gun-howitzer artillery from Myanmar Army
inside of the City.
TNLA the Palaung
Army has already occupied the Namtu Town at the West-of-Lashio and the Maingyaw at the East-of-Lashio, while MNDAA the Kokang Army has taken the Thain-Ni
Town at the North-of-Lashio. TNLA
has also controlled the Highway to Thibaw Town at the South-of-Lashio. Lashio is completely blocked, and making the
matter worse the dangerously-trapped Myanmar Army had mindlessly blown off all
five bridges on the roads into Lashio.
They blew up and
destroyed the bridges at Manpwe, Sutlan, and Mansayaykya villages on June-25.
On June-27 the Lshio-Mansan and Lashio-Manpwe Bridges were also blownup and
completely destroyed.

Thousands Trapped at Sint-in Crossing
Hundreds and hundreds
of war-worried town-people started leaving the Lashio City in July-5 morning
but soon ran into a major obstacle at a river crossing just outside of the
City. Nearly 500 cars and more than a thousand refugees are now being trapped
at the Sint-in Crossing on the Lashio-Thibaw Highway.
The car bridge there
was also blownup and completely destroyed by the Myanmar Army to stop the advancing
TNLA troops from down-south and now only a raft was available for the crossing
for both light-vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
The crude raft-ferry
there could transport only 8 cars in an hour and also at one side of the crossing
the SSA (Shan State Army) and at the other side the KIA (Kachin Independence
Army) were both collecting 20,000 kyats (about five US$) each car. This civil-war is becoming a very profitable business for them ethnic rebels!
