Myawaddy Has Fallen into Karen Hands

The most crucial border town on the Thai-Burma border line has fallen into the hands of KNU (Karen National Union) controlled KNLA (Karen National Liberation Army) after her Burmese sister town Thin-gan-nyi-naung surrendered to the said ethnic rebels on April-5.

Thin-gan-nyi-naung Strategic Hill Camp of Myanma Army was attacked on 8 Am, April-5,  and the Myanmar troops surrendered on 1 pm same day without a serious fight at all. Altogether 617 Myanmar Army personnel including 67 officers, 410 other ranks, 59 feamle soldiers, and 81 family members had willingly laid down their weapons and surrendered.

Once Thin-gan-nyi-naung has fallen the end-of-road-town Myawaddy on the Thai Border was completely cut-off from the rest of the country and the only way out for the government staff and Myanmar Army troops trapped in the Myawaddy Town was to cross the border to the Maesot Town in Thailand.

Julie Bishop: New UN Special Envoy for Myanmar

UN chief appoints former Australian foreign minister Julie Bishop as UN special envoy for Myanmar: Julie Bishop served as Australia's foreign minister from 2013-2018.

The post has been vacant for 10 months as the country's conflict escalated into the worst violence since the military takeover in 2021. Ms Bishop will replace Noeleen Heyzer, a former UN undersecretary-general for Singapore who left after 20 months at the end of her contract in June 2023.

In a grim assessment to the UN General Assembly before leaving, Ms Heyzer said the impact of the military takeover has been "devastating", with violence continuing "at an alarming scale". In announcing Ms Bishop's appointment, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said she "brings extensive political, legal, management and senior leadership experience to the role".

Dictator’s Imminent End? Suicide Drones Over Naypyidaw

The universally-hated Myanmar dictator Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing was rumored to have been killed or seriousy wounded by the multiple suicide drones from the NUG forces attacking his house and offices in Naypyidaw the early morning of April-4.

Min Aung Hlaing’s house, nearby War Office, and the Aye-lar Airport of Myanmar Airforce were targeted by 28 fixed-wings suicide drones. According to the NUG Defence Minister Yi Mon’s socialmedia posts, 12 drones each went to Myanmar Army’s War Office and Aye-lar Airport while another 4 drones went to the Dictator’s house.

The explosive power of each drone, according to NUG’s social media post, is 20% stronger than an average 107-mm shock-rocket. Altogether more than 20 Myanmar officers and soldiers were killed and there were many more wounded.

The Most Corrupt General in the Human History

The infamous Myanmar dictator Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing, hatefully called "The Motherfucker" by most Burmese, is becoming the most corrupt army-chief in the more than 8,000 years-old written-history of human world.

With the nickname “The Contractor” given by his own army officers he has given every Defense Department's building construction and maintenance jobs to the conglomerate controlled by his son Aung Pyae Sone. The competitive tendering process is conveniently ignored for every defense projects and MAH’s family companies always win the tender regardless of how overly expensive and how shoddy the reputation is.

Just first two months this year alone MAH's companies snatched 13 government projects worth 280 million US dollars. But our greedy MAH is not just happy with the billions of kyats regularly flowing into his pockets, he shamelessly committed the most atrocious corrupt crime by forcing all Myanmar servicemen and servicewomen to take out a scam life insurance from his family-owned insurance company “Aung Myintmo Min” privately owned by his son that notorious Aung Pyae Sone.

China’s North-Burma & US’s South-Burma?

Deciding the fate of poor Burma?

A Bangladesh newspaper The Dhaka Tribune reported on 21 January that Myanmar Government is advancing the Chinese-sponsored Kyauk Phyu Deep Seaport amid the nationwide armed-conflicts which are getting severe day by day.

Despite the worsening conflicts currently occurring in Rakhine State, Communist China together with Myanmar is marching on strongly to complete the 1,700-kilometer long China-Myanmar Economic Corridor connecting Kunming in Yunnan province to the Indian Ocean. Kyauk Phyu port is the terminus of that corridor ending (or starting) in the Bay of Bengal in Indian Ocean.

Irrawaddy Media said that the deep seaport project is an important part of the Myanmar economic agreement on the Trans-Burma Economic Corridor connecting the Indian Ocean to the Kunmin City of land-locked Yunnan State in Southern China. An official media conference was held recently after signing an agreement for the Kyauk Phyu Deepsea Port Project.

Construction and development of the Deep Seaport and the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is a joint venture between the China and Myanmar, and the Myanmar military government-backed Kyauk Phyu Special Economic Zone Management Committee is managing it.

China Behind The Rebel’s Victory In Shan-North?

What role did China play in a rebel group’s victory in northern Myanmar? Ethnic-minority armies couched their campaign as an effort to rid the region of criminal organizations that had frustrated China.

When the Three Brotherhood Alliance of rebel groups in Myanmar started a campaign against junta forces in the northern part of the country they chose a slogan designed to win support from a fourth potential ally: China. “Wipe out the scammers, rescue our compatriots,” the group declared in the message.

China, which shares a border with Kokang, a region in Shan state in northern Myanmar, had expressed increasing frustration with organized crime rings that had been allowed to operate in the area by junta-aligned forces. An estimated 120,000 people are being held in Myanmar against their will. Chinese nationals have both been trafficked by these groups and fleeced by them.

Myanmar Army Sold Out Shan-North To China

The so-called China-sponsored Ceasefire Agreement was signed between the shamefully-defeated Myanmar Army and the victorious Northern Aliance of KIA, MDNAA, TNLA, and AA on January 11. The term of the CA was very clear. Shan-North is now Northern Allance Armies’ and Myanmar Army is to stay away from the vast area, forever.

No-Fly-Zone over Shan-North especially the East of mighty Salween River, the vast region bordering China, will be immediately enforced by Yunan PLA divisons with SAM missile batteries stationed just across the borderline. Stupid Myanmar Army always talking loud and proud on Burma’s Soveriginity has suddenly given up a significant chunk of Union of Burma without a serious fight and it looks like we will never get it back from China.

Rumours swirling around in Rangoon are that Motherfucker Min Aung Hlaing had basically sold out Shan North to China for a significant amount of cash along with an offer of Political Asylum in China if his army suddenly collapses and he and his immediate family have to flee Burma in very near future.

Laukkai Has Surrendered: Kokang Is Now China's

The locals called themselves Kokang Shans of the border lands, but their native language is Chinese Mandarin, Chinese Yuan is their money, all utilities including electricity, water, and telecommunications come straight across the borderline from the Yunan State of China.They always are the ethnic Chinese and now they get their lands back from pesky Burmese after three months long war.  

Laukkai, the capital city of kokang and the notorious epicenter of billion dollars cyber scams, has surrendered to the Kokang army of Chinese-armed rebels the MNDAA. More than 3000-strong Myanmar Army divisions with mountainous stockpile of deadly weapons had just surrendered without a serious fight to more than ten thousands strong MNDAA on January-5.

Myanmar Army supposedly was determined to hold on Laukkai and thus steadily strengthened the city with five infantry divisions namely ROC-Laukkai, LID-55, MOC-12, MOC-14, and MOC-16 altogether more than three thousands troops supported by heavy artillery and Myanmar Air Force.

Myanmar Mi-17 Chopper Shot Down By FN-6 MANPAD

A Myanmar Air Force’s Mi-17 transport helicopter was shot down in rugged Kachin State by KIA Kachin rebels with a Chinese-supplied FN-6 MANPAD shoulder-fired missile launcher on January-3.

The shot-down occurred at just before noon on third January while the Mi-17 was delivering supplies and troops to the Nar-phaut army camp in Waimaw Township near the Kachin State Capital Myit-kyi-nar.

This is the fourth Myanmar Airforce’s aircraft shot down by a FN-6 MANPAD since 2021. The first one was a Russian Chopper shot down also by KIA near Myothit Town in Moemauk Township on 2012 May-3. Myanmar Army admitted that three Air Force officers were killed then.
