Myanmar military prepares an onslaught for the ages: Impending military campaign seeks to destroy new people's defense forces but the massive offensive could ultimately bolster the resistance.

Myanmar's Tatmadaw is planning a massive offensive against newly formed people's defense forces.  Sooner or later Myanmar’s military was bound to wheel out the big guns. Since March, when peaceful protest against the February 1 coup turned to armed resistance, the generals in Naypyidaw have watched too much go too wrong in too many places for too long.

In the nation’s ethnic Bamar heartland so-called “people’s defense forces” (PDFs)  have proliferated to challenge military authority; from the borders of China and Thailand ethnic armies have extended them sanctuary, training, and weapons; and in strategically vital regions of Myanmar’s west and east bomb blasts and killings have escalated into full-blown insurgency.

PDF Attack on Army outposts in Rangoon (Video)

One Myanmar-Army soldier was killed and one other severely wounded in a Rangoon PDF unit’s drive-by shooting of their security outpost inside a traffic police box at the Bargaya Intersection in the Sanchaung Township of Rangoon.

The daring mid-day attack was videoed and released widely on Social Media sites by the Rangoon PDF as a fund-raising drive asking for donations from the people of Burma. The drive-by shooting was at about 2:30 pm on October-23. Just yesterday.

Similar attacks but with multiple explosives were launched all over Rangoon especially in the South-Dagon and North-Dagon townships after the Bargayar Attack. Urban guerrilla attacks are now occurring in all major cities of Burma despite the heavy-handed responses from the universally-hated Myanmar Army.

Myanmar Army has been retaliating the widespread PDF attacks with illegal arrests and summary executions of young Burmese men and women. A drunken unit had recently kidnapped, gang-raped, and killed two young sisters after accusing them of supporting a local PDF unit led by their older brother.

People Power: Myanmar Army is Collapsing!

That mother-fucker Min Aung Hlaing’s war-dog Army is on the brink of sudden collapse. The whole North-Western Regional Military Command is basically being annihilated right now by the People Defense Forces of Chin State and Yaw-Gangaw Region.

The sudden collapse of 100+ battalions-strong infamous Na-Ma-Kha Division after the months-long battles between its demoralized infantry battalions and local PDFs is a disastrous news for Burma’s newest dictator.

Just eight months ago on February-1 the Son-of-a-Bitch General thought by putting ASSK and her ministers in jail and killing a few hundred Gen-Z protesters he would be sitting on Burmese throng for a very, very long time like his predecessors late General Ne Win and General Than Shwe did.

He thought it wrong and the brave young people of Burma has proved that fact by arming themselves and killing his war-dogs by thousands and thousands all over the nation. More than sixty years of slaving under the Myanmar Army  war-dogs’ boots was enough and they knew they have to get rid of that bastard army just to become truly free and democratic.

Thai Police Tortured Drug Dealer To Death (Video)

BANGKOK -- Thailand's police have suffered another blow to their reputation from the release of a video that appears to show a man dying in custody with a plastic bag over his head.

But the deadly interrogation method is not the work of just one rogue officer, according to retired senior members of a force that Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha had pledged to reform after he staged the 2014 coup.

The video, which leaked last month and went viral, drawing 3.6 million views, allegedly shows 24-year-old Jeerapong Thanapat, who had been arrested in Nakhon Sawan, 250 km north of the capital, on suspicion of selling methamphetamine pills, suffocating to death as officers demanded 2 million baht ($60,000) for his freedom. The superintendent of the station, Col. Thitisan Utthanaphon, nicknamed "Joe Ferrari" for his sports car collection, was later arrested.

Hostage Diplomacy: Commie China’s Thuggery

China played dirty to get Huawei’s 'princess' back — too dirty even to tell its own people: Family and supporters of two diplomatic hostages held in China for almost three years have celebrated their arrival home in Canada, as the woman they were traded for, Meng Wanzhou, was given a hero's welcome in the city of Shenzhen.

The trio's return to their respective homes caps a historic three-year standoff between the world's two superpowers, with Canada and the Chinese company Huawei caught in the middle. Upon arriving home to Calgary, one of the two Canadians Michael Kovrig said "It’s fantastic to be back home in Canada".

He'd endured more than a thousand days locked in a Chinese prison with limited access to lawyers and no ability to speak to visitors outside of a monthly consular visit. Meng Wanzhou, the wealthy daughter of Huawei's boss Ren Zhengfei sometimes dubbed a princess by Chinese media, told Chinese state TV as she departed Canada: "If it wasn't for a strong motherland, I wouldn't have my freedom today."

Htan-Ta-Lan Destroyed by Myanmar Army

Htantalan is a medium-sized town of about 4,000 Chin people, situated between Indian border and Hakha the state capital city of Chin State in Myanmar. It is the latest town engulfed by the fighting between Myanmar Army and CDF the Chinland Defense Force.

On September-9 there was a fierce battle between nearly 200 strong CDF unit and almost 50-strong patrolling unit of Myanmar Army’s local battalion. Battle lasted just a few hours and killed two soldiers and four CDF men.

The following week-long clashes eventually drove the town populace to flee and take refuge in the nearby border villages. Some families even fled into the Mizoram in bordering India. The worst came on September 18 when the army bombarded the town with their heavy weapons.

Army Laying Landmines to Protect Mytel Towers

To protect Dictator MAH’s family asset and the main cash-cow, Mytel, Myanmar Army has been laying fields of landmines around Mytel mobile-phone towers all over Burma especially in the rural areas.

The NLD’s PDFs (People Defense Forces) have been waging a nation-wide war against Myanmar Army and deliberately destroyed at least 200 out of more than 5,000 Mytel towers and causing irreparable damages to MAH’s family fortune.

Since the Mytel towers have been cheaply insured by the largest Myanmar insurance company, Aung Myint Moe Min founded and fully-controlled by MAH’s son Aung Pyae Zone, the enormous cost to replace the 200 towers would nearly bankrupt MAH’s family.

Arming Army-Wives: Violating Mother Rights

Is it a crime against humanity when some crazy institution like universally-hated Myanmar Army is forcing their army-wives, most are nursing young-mothers, to fight and kill or be killed in the process?

That is what exactly the primitive Myanmar Army has been doing for decades while the whole civilized world is saying nothing to stop the barbaric and un-civilized practice. Hundreds or even thousands mothers and their children have been killed in Burma so that the power-mad generals can keep on oppressing the populace for more than 63 years since 1958.

Now is the time for UN or EU or US to intervene and stop the unbelievably-heinous practice of forcing mothers and their children to fight against their own people just because those mothers happened to be married to the soldiers of Myanmar Army.

The Battle for Myanmar’s Seat in The UNGA

Across Myanmar, the battle continues between the military and those opposed to the military coup d’etat of 1 February 2021. Opposition to the coup began with non-violent resistance in the form of the Civil Disobedience Movement.

The aim is now revolution and an end to the military’s decades-long dominance of political life. The revolutionaries have brought within their fold some of the armed ethnic organisations that have long fought against the military in the country’s borderlands. Civil war is looming. A different battle for Myanmar is being fought in the United Nations.

On 14 September, the 75th UN General Assembly (UNGA) will meet in New York. Presidents, prime ministers and dictators from across the world – or their representatives – will gather to discuss, debate and make recommendations on global issues. The question de jour is who will represent Myanmar – the military’s representative or the representative of the democratically elected, ousted government?

Arming Army-Wives: US$ 90 A Month Salary

Myanmar Army desperate to boost the troops’ depleting number and sagging morale has announced on August-10 to pay a fixed salary to every army-wife armed and ready to fight or already fighting the dreaded PDF and the ethnic insurgents.

Myanmar's newest dictator General MAH has ordered his War Office to pay a monthly salary of kyats 180,000, equivalent to US$ 90 at the rapidly depreciating rate of 2,000 kyats/US$, starting from August 2021. 

According to the army circles the armed army-wives will receive a fix salary regardless of her soldier-husband’s rank or status. Their salary of kyats 180,000 is roughly half the unofficial salary Myanmar Army has been paying to the civilian militia like Swan-arr-shins or Pyu-saw-htees.

Almost all the army-wives living inside the battalion Head-Quarter bases all over Burma are now trained and armed heavily to defend their home-bases against their enemies PDFs and ethnic insurgents. And they are taking heavy casualties in so-called liberated areas like the Kachin State and Karen State.

PDFs Launch D-Day War on Mytel

An extensive campaign of sabotage targeting Mytel’s telecommunication infrastructure is expected to hit Burma’s generals—and Vietnam’s government—with costs that could run into tens, if not hundreds, of millions of dollars. Unsurprisingly, the military are stepping up attempts to protect their investment.

Following the National Unity Government’s D-Day announcement this Tuesday, scores of Mytel transmission towers and substations have been destroyed by Burma’s enlivened resistance groups in what appears to be a targeted campaign to root out the provider.

Well-documented information provided to DVB by People’s Defence Forces (PDFs) operating within Burma suggests that, over four days of operations, well over 60 towers (out of nearly 5,000 towers nationwide) have been critically disabled. The majority are located in the bloody new frontline of the conflict: the Sagaing-Magaway borderlands.

CIA’s Bomb-Making Classes for PDF via Zoom?

Amid a global charm campaign, opposition leader Dr. Sasa praised their efforts.

On 14 June, a man wearing a white T-shirt, baseball cap and blonde goatee turns on his webcam, revealing a dimly lit room full of construction materials, safety equipment and a jumble of small containers, some of them labelled as gunpowder.

Speaking into the camera, he recounts spending several hours that day “putting some things together”: mortar casings, a selection of cannons and homemade firearms known as zip guns. “I built a full-scale, 10-pound mortar today, and I’m going to show some of those things,” he tells his audience of around 40 people, who have gathered via Zoom to watch the demonstration.

Mytel: Dictator Min Aung Hlaing’s Weak Spot!

Myanmar Army Chief and the newest Burmese dictator, General Min Aung Hlaing was recently seen almost crying on the Myanmar TV. Why did the hard man publicly and pathetically collapse?

Not because the sad reason that the people resistance has been killing hundreds and hundreds of his obedient wardog soldiers, and not because his universally-hated wardog soldiers have been deserting his slave army in droves. Just because the nation-wide Burmese resistance movement has started destroying tens and tens of the MYTEL’s mobile phone towers all over the country last few weeks.

Burmese Resistance has found the General’s weak spot and the brave fighters have been deliberately and brutally bombing his MYTEL towers all over the place. It even alarmingly rattles another S-E-Asian dictatorship, the Communist Vietnam.

Australia’s House Bubble is About to Bust!

China Evergrande Group is on the brink of default and it’s bad news for Australia: One of the biggest property developers in China is at risk of defaulting on billions of dollars of loans – and it’s bad news for Australia.

The company owes hundreds of billions of dollars, and creditors are beating down the doors. As one expert described the property developer as being in a “death spiral”, Evergrande this week warned it could default on its substantial debts. It has about $408 billion in total liabilities.

“The group has risks of defaults on borrowings and cases of litigation outside of its normal course of business,” the Shenzhen-based company said in a recent earnings statement. “Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the securities of the group.”

NUG Declares D-Day: MAH Offers To Negotiate

Myanmar's shadow government declares resistance war in 'public revolution' against junta: Myanmar's National Unity Government, formed by opponents of the country's military coup, has urged all citizens to revolt against the junta government.

Sharing his demands on Facebook, the NUG's acting president Duwa Lashi La called for "a people's defensive war against the military junta", and urged ethnic organisations to immediately attack coup leader Min Aung Hlaing. He also called on soldiers, police and civil servants to defect to the "public revolution".

"Following the coup, the [Myanmar] people have not passed a day with joy. It has been eight months since the military continuously and cruelly murdered, tortured, detained and imprisoned using many laws," he said in the subtitled video which lasted almost eight minutes.

China’s Property Bubble is About to Bust!

It is a passage to which Xu Jiayin, founder of China Evergrande, China's biggest property group and the world's 122nd largest company by sales, can relate. For most of this year, his firm has been floundering, fighting off hordes of angry creditors, defending court actions and desperately trying to secure enough finance to survive. Now the situation has taken a sudden turn for the worse.

At its peak, three years ago, the Hong Kong-listed China Evergrande was the world's most valuable real estate group. It's now better known as the world's most indebted property developer, owing more than $US300 billion ($403 billion).

9-11 Monstrosity, Free Money, and Pisslam

The early morning of September 11, 2001 in America was late night in Dee Why of Sydney where I had been living for many years since December 1988. In the year of 2001 I was already trading ASX-200 Share Price Index (SPI) at SFE (Sydney Futures Exchange) for nearly three years.

It was a Tuesday and that night I couldn’t sleep early and ending up lying comfy on the couch and watching a TV drama on ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) TV. Then just before midnight the TV screen suddenly started displaying “Breaking news: Passenger jet plane crashed into one of the World Trade Centre twin towers in New York City.” at the bottom of the TV screen.

Very soon the regular program was abruptly stopped and the horrific scenes of a large two-turbine-engine Boeing plane entering the North Tower like a hot knife into a block of butter was being repeatedly shown.

PDF Cell Responsible For Train Attack Captured

In the dark night of September-2, Myanmar Army raided an apartment unit in the Myittar Nyunt Ward of Tarmwe Township in Rangoon City, and captured four members of the PDF (People Defense Force) cell responsible for the fatal attack on the police security unit riding on Rangoon City Circle train on August-14.

The train ambush killed five policemen and wounded one and the PDF got away with four automatic assault rifles and assorted ammunitions. The captured PDF cell members are Myat Phyo Pwint (the only female and the owner of the apartment raided), Kyaw Win Soe, Kaung Pye San Oo, and San Min Aung.

The four assault rifles taken from the Myanmar Police were also recaptured from the unit. The apartment owner and financial backer Myat Phyo Pwint is declared by Myanmar Army as the wealthy daughter of a serving NCO from Myanmar Army’s Construction Engineering Corps (GE).

What’s in Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccines?

As Australians start to roll up their sleeves for their COVID-19 vaccine, many people have been wondering — what's actually in the Pfizer and AstraZeneca jabs? Both coronavirus jabs use new technologies to train the body's immune system, teaching it to recognise and fight the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) if the virus was to infect the body.

Pfizer uses messenger RNA (mRNA) encased in a lipid layer, which, until recently, had not been approved for use in a human vaccine. The AstraZeneca option is a viral vector vaccine, which uses a harmless chimpanzee adenovirus to deliver DNA into our cells. This technology is also new to the world of approved vaccines.

But it's important to note the rest of the ingredients in Australia's two approved coronavirus vaccines — both of which have undergone rigorous testing and clinical trials — are the same as those found in a typical vaccine, Monash University professor of pharmaceutical biology Colin Pouton said. "Apart from these main [newly developed] parts, everything else is fairly standard."

Distributing Vaccines: Smallpox and the History of Vaccine Campaigns: The COVID-19 vaccine rollout dominates today’s headlines. As a historian who has studied vaccination for almost six years, I continually find that the current vaccine campaign holds striking similarities to smallpox vaccine distribution.

From its inception in 1796, global smallpox vaccine distribution required three key elements: proper preservation, accurate administration and receptive bodies. Learning from the smallpox vaccine rollout can help us make sense of the problems we encounter daily in the COVID-19 vaccine operation and address them head-on.

Proper preservation impaired smallpox vaccination from its beginning. Since the refrigerator was not formally invented until the late 19th century, vaccine lymph, or the fluid taken from a cowpox lesion or growth, required a preservation technique that could keep the vaccine active at a wide range of temperatures.

President Ghani: US$169,000,000 Coward of Afghanistan

He was the commander-in-Chief of US-trained 300,000+ strong Afghan National Army equipped with most advanced war weapons supplied free by the United States. But he is also a coward who abandoned his army, his people, and his nation and fled with US$ 169 million in cash from the Afghan Treasury.

Later in UAE he denied taking the money and blamed Taliban for threatening to hang him like they did to late President Najibullah in 1996 during the First Taliban Takeover of Afghanistan. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai (born 19 May 1949) is an Afghan politician, academic, and economist who served as President of Afghanistan between September 2014 and August 2021.

Born in Logar Province, Ghani went to the United States in the 1960s to study and later completed a bachelor's at the American University in Beirut. He became a professor of anthropology at numerous institutions, mostly at Johns Hopkins University, before starting to work with the World Bank.

Battle for Mindat: People Vs Military (Part 3)

Once UNHCR left the town the Army Troops were sent out wide to search and destroy CDF units in the villages. According to the local Chins there were six Myanmar Army battalions in the area but only twos were visibly operating in the town as the rest were engaging CDF in the surrounding areas.

On July-28 the Maqui-einnu forward-army-camp surrendered to the attacking CDF forces. Eight Myanmar Army soldiers and four Myanmar Policemen led by army captain Thein Htaik changed side to PDF. A graduate from DSA intake-55, Captain Thein Htaik was a company commander from Mindat-based LIB-274.

CDF had been raiding small police outposts all over the township and capturing the police guns and ammunitions and On July-30 early morning a battalion strength army reinforcement coming down from Matupi was ambushed by nearly a 1,000 strong heavily-armed CDF at the 73-Mile-Post on Mindat-Matupi Road.

Scott Morrison: We Must Live With COVID

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has conceded it's "highly unlikely" that Australia will be able to return to COVID zero, as he pushes the states to start relaxing restrictions once 70 per cent of adults have been vaccinated.

Under National Cabinet's four-phase pathway out of the pandemic, the states and territories will open their borders and use lockdowns more sparingly once 70 to 80 per cent of Australians over 16 are inoculated.

But a split has emerged with some premiers arguing the modelling underpinning that plan assumes case numbers would be much lower than they are at the moment. Mr Morrison has played down those concerns, adding the Doherty Institute would be providing updated advice to National Cabinet this week.

Trump on Bidden: Incompetent, Stupid, Whatever!

WASHINGTON, Aug 21 (Reuters) - Former President Donald Trump launched on Saturday a sustained attack on President Joe Biden's handling of the retreat of U.S. forces from Afghanistan, which he called "the greatest foreign policy humiliation" in U.S. history.

Trump, a Republican who has dangled the possibility of running again for president in 2024, has repeatedly blamed Biden, a Democrat, for Afghanistan's fall to the Islamist militant Taliban, even though the U.S. withdrawal that triggered the collapse was negotiated by his own administration.

"Biden’s botched exit from Afghanistan is the most astonishing display of gross incompetence by a nation’s leader, perhaps at any time," Trump said at a boisterous rally packed with his supporters near Cullman, Alabama.

Sydney Protest Leader Got Lost & Got Jailed

Sydney protest leader Anthony Khallouf jailed: An alleged organiser of a proposed anti-lockdown protest in central Sydney this weekend has been sentenced to at least three months' jail for failing to comply with NSW public health orders.

Queensland-based Victorian Anthony Khallouf, 29, pleaded guilty on Friday to breaching public health orders by driving to Sydney last weekend. NSW Police Force says Khallouf was staying at a North Sydney hotel but was located on Thursday afternoon at Hornsby train station after he took a wrong train instead of a city train.

Khallouf, an online anti-lockdown activist, told officers he was lost and couldn't give a reasonable excuse for travelling to Hornsby. He was arrested and charged with failing to comply with public health orders, encouraging the commission of crimes and making false representations prompting police involvement.

Khallouf appeared at Hornsby Local Court on Friday and pleaded guilty to all offences. He was sentenced by magistrate Robyn Denes to a non-parole period of three months' imprisonment, with an aggregate term of eight months.

Battle for Mindat: People Vs Military (Part 2)

On May-16 the military declares Martial-Law on the Mindat Twonship. Now the troops could do whatever they wanted to the restless people of Mindat. Two UAV (drones) were hovering the town and the army even sent a low-flying fighter jet just to frighten the town folks.

LIB-274 sent many patrols into the town and arrested any men they found on the streets. The soldiers also raided houses abandoned by people fearful of the troops and stole cash and other valuables. But they didn’t dare to wander outside the town as they knew the CDF was waiting for them. They were expecting army reinforcements coming from Matupi.

But on May-17 the nine-truck army convoy from Matupi was stopped by CDF at about sixteen miles from Mindat. Army camps from Kyauk-Htu then started shelling Maindat with their 105-mm howitzers.

Myanmar Army Lost Arakan To Arakan Army (AA)

A ceasefire in the Arakan State and chaos in the rest of the country have given the Arakan Army an opportunity to assert authority: On August 1, the United League of Arakan (ULA)—the political wing of the Arakan Army (AA)—announced that it would be establishing its own judiciary in areas under its control.

The move, which comes just months after the Myanmar junta removed the group from its list of terrorist organizations, and less than a year into a ceasefire with the military that ended two years of fierce fighting, is just the latest evidence of its rapidly growing influence over life in northern Rakhine State.

Arming Army-wives: Myanmar Army is Over-Stretched

Myanmar Army's generals claim to have at least 300,000 fighting men in their force, but in reality at least a quarter of them at any given time are so-called ghost soldiers drawing out salaries and food rations but they only exist in the books not as physical beings.

On organizational charts Myanmar Army has fourteen Regional Military Commands (RMCs) with 400+ Infantry battalions, twenty-one Military Operations Commands (MOCs) with 200+ Light Infantry Battalions, seven Regional Operations Commands (ROCs) with 30+ Light Infantry Battalions, and ten Light Infantry Divisions (LIDs) with 100+ Infantry Battalions.

Altogether there are nearly 750 infantry battalions with a total manpower of more than 200,000+ fighting men, but in reality Myanmar Army could barely muster just over half of that manpower on the frontlines if the needs arise. Maximum possible at about 150,000, I believe.

Scott Morrison Says NO to Zero-COVID Strategy

Scott Morrison says the Western Australian government’s plan to continue a Covid-zero strategy even when most people are vaccinated is at odds with the national plan, labelling the suggested approach “absurd”.

In a morning media blitz on Monday to promote the government’s deal to secure 1m extra Pfizer doses from Poland, Morrison said the national plan was “very clear” that a zero Covid strategy would be abandoned once adult vaccination rates reached between 70% and 80%.

Sydney Freedom-fighter Ronald McLean the 69-year-old anti-lockdown pensioner was lashed by a magistrate after claiming he was just riding past a freedom rally before assaulting a police officer.

“This courtroom has had Covid in it,” Magistrate Jennifer Giles announced as she sat down in the Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday morning. “I’m told it’s been cleaned, but please, let’s spend as little time in it as possible.”

Cops Killed on Rangoon City-Circle Train

On August-14 at about 5-pm, the Security Police Squad riding the Rangoon Citycircle Train was ambushed by a group of unknown PDF assassins. Four out of six-men squad were killed and the two were severely wounded. The ambush was on the Rangoon-Insein train between Panhlaing and Ahlonelan stations.

Later the Myanmar Army released the information that Police-lance-corporal Win Zaw Latt, and Police-privates Ye Min Htun, Phyo Maung Maung, and Htein Lin Aung were killed, and Police-corporals Myint Htay and Kyaw Zin wer wounded and now receiving treatments at 500-beds Military Hospital in Mingaladon. Four assault rifles were declared lost in the ambush.

The eyewitness from the train told the Khit Thit Media that the dead and wounded policemen were taken away by the Myanmar Army soldiers at the Kyi-myin-daing Station. The train driver and conductor were overpowered by the youthful-looking gunmen and forced to stop the train but they didn’t hurt them.

The assassins’ target purely was the hated member of Myanmar Poice Battalions and so they executed almost all 6 policemen and took away four of their rifles. The truly urban war has started in Burma’s largest city and it is spreading all over the country like a wild fire. It will only end when Myanmar Army and Myanmar Police are totally destroyed.

UK Is Now Living With COVID & Australia Must Too

Freedom Day in London. A crowded room. Music pulsing through my veins. Sweaty bodies conspicuously not distanced. HEAVEN nightclub in London, like hundreds of others in the UK, reopened in recent weeks after 16 months. Life for expat Aussies in Britain – like myself – is getting back to normal. In recent weeks, I have ventured to Barcelona and my diary is filling up with social events.

For the last year, Australians back home looked at the UK like a post-apocalyptic COVID wasteland. By contrast, Australia was bliss. Early border closures, harsh lockdowns and meticulous contact tracing pushed cases to zero. But the tables have turned. The UK is moving on while Australia seems to be suddenly trapped in a COVID nightmare.

The zero COVID strategy is no longer achievable. NSW’s world-leading contact tracers have met their match with the fast-spreading Delta variant. Cases continue to increase even within a lockdown. This wave may never disappear.

Bodies Burning in Garbage Incinerators

Yesterday WHO declares that Burma (Myanmar) will have at least 20 million cases of Delta Variant COVID infection by end of this year. Deaths from COVID are piling up all over Burma and the ruling military government’s inept handling has been making the public health crisis worse.

The photos of long lines of corpses waiting to be cremated are all over the Burmese Facebook pages as the multitude of deaths are overwhelming the government-controlled crematoriums in Rangoon. 

And the disgusting pictures of military government’s secret burning of unclaimed COVID corpses inside the garbage incinerators operated by RCDC (Rangoon City Development Committee- the city’s municipal authority) are now leaking daily to the depressed and disturbed public.

The actual daily COVID deaths recently is more than ten times worse than the figures of 350 average-daily-deaths officially released by the military government. Rangoon alone is now recorded at least 3,500 daily deaths as per the crematorium sources.

Lockdowns Do Not Work!

“It is especially disappointing to see the Berejiklian government choose to lock down Sydney. This was the one government that seemed committed to learning to live with Covid. Their capitulation to pro-lockdown hysteria tells Australians that there is nowhere they can hide from the threat of lockdowns.”

Rangoon Youths’ Group Suicide During Army Raid

Five young people had jumped from the rooftop of a 5-storied building and killed themselves in a group suicide during the violent Burmese Army’s raid on their hideout in the Bo-ta-htaung Township in Rangoon City today.

Apparently the group including one young girl decided to kill themselves than getting captured and facing torture and horrible rapes and certain death in the hands of notoriously violent soldiers of brutal Burmese Army.

The army’ raid was on the apartment block at N0-38 of lower 44^th street in the crowded Botahtaung Township in Rangoon City. Altogether eight youths were inside the apartment unit targeted by the armed soldiers.

Caretaker Government by War-dogs in Burma

Newest Burmese dictator General Min Aung Hlaing (MAH) has formed a so-called Caretaker Government after removing third highest ranking general and other seemingly disloyal army generals from their army posts.

On August-1 MAH shamelessly declared himself as the Prime Minister of newly-formed Caretaker Government of Burma. As the six month anniversary of his February-1 coup he delivered a state speech to the country. In his speech he declared to hold the power two more years till August-1 2023.

Even though he promised to hold a general election soon he said he still needs two years to stabilize the country which he himself has destabilized by his coup. He as the military chief was to retire in last July at the age of sixty-five years, but he refused to retire and stage a coup and then killed thousands of anti-coup protesters and imprisoned and tortured tens of thousands of politicians and activists opposing his dictatorship.

MONEY, MONEY: The analysis of Cai’s phones was continuing to provide leads. On them, police say they found the GPS coordinates of the pick-up point in the Andaman Sea where fishing boats laden with Myanmar meth were meeting drug motherships capable of being at sea for weeks. One of the motherships was a Taiwanese trawler called the Shun de Man 66, according to the Taiwanese law enforcement document reviewed by Reuters.

The vessel was already at sea when, in early July 2017, Joshua Joseph Smith walked into a marine broker in the Western Australian capital of Perth and paid $A350,000 (about $265,000 at the time) for the MV Valkoista, a fishing charter boat. Smith, who was in his mid-40s and hailed from the east coast of Australia, inquired about sea sickness tablets. According to local media, he didn’t have a fishing license at the time.

After buying the boat on July 7, Smith set the Valkoista on a course straight from the marina to meet the Shun De Man 66 in the Indian Ocean, an AFP police commander said. After the rendezvous, the Valkoista then sailed to the remote Western Australian port city of Geraldton on July 11, where its crew was seen “unloading a lot of packages” into a van, the commander said.

Battles for Mindat: People Vs Military (Part 1)

Mindat is a scenic hill town in southern Chin state of Myanmar formerly known as Burma. It is near the border between Chin State and Magwe Division and now a battle has been raging there for more than three months since April-24.

That day was the last of the peaceful protest by the local Chin ethnic-Christian people against the dictatorial army of mainly the dominant Buddhist-Burmese. On that day the weeks-long anti-coup protest were quelled by the Burmese soldiers and police shooting at the protesting Chin people indiscriminately.

Initial shootings were done by the town garrison LIB-274 a Light Infantry Battalion of Burmese Army. But the natives from the town and neighboring villages armed themselves with home-made hunting rifles (Tumee-muskets) and double-barrel shot guns and fought back the soldiers armed with automatic assault rifles and machine guns.

I Survived COVID: Fourteen Days of Hell

In the afternoons of both July-1 & 2 I worked out one hour each day on my treadmill machine at home with no problems at all. But on July-2 midday I had to go see my doctor at the Han-thar-waddy Hospital for my recurring back-pain.

I was in full PPE there, I washed my hands thoroughly with hand sanitizers, and I took a long shower when I got back home. Then on July-3 I went out to nearby Inya Lake and tried to jog a few laps on the lake-bank for the weather was fine with not a rain in that evening.

I usually jog three or four laps, but that day I was getting really exhausted after just one lap and so I decided to stop running and just walked in the Rangoon University Campus and came back home. On my way back home I noticed my fingers were slightly swollen and I immediately sensed that something was going wrong with me.

Socialists want Harsher Fines on Protesters

NSW Labor has called for massive fines for planned anti-lockdown protests in Sydney: Growing reports of a second anti-lockdown rally in Sydney has spurred NSW Labor to demand the Berejiklian government slap protesters with massive fines.

Fines ranging from $5,500 to $20,000 have been pushed by the NSW Labor Opposition for protesters planning a second anti-lockdown rally on the weekend. NSW Shadow Police Minister Walt Secord and Shadow Attorney General Michael Daley have urged Premier Gladys Berejiklian to “throw the book at these idiots” who are planning another protest in Sydney on Saturday.

Thousands took to the streets on Saturday to protest the ongoing lockdown restrictions in reaction to Sydney’s growing COVID-19 Delta outbreak. NSW Police confirmed 60 people who attended last weekend’s rally had been arrested and charged with officers issuing 148 infringement notices.

3,000+ COVID Corpses Today In Rangoon Alone

The corpses of COVID victims are horribly overwhelming the crematoriums in Rangoon cemeteries and the ruling military junta is finally dumping the bodies in hastily-dug mass graves on any vacant cemetery grounds available.

Today the government ran MRTV also announced that the Rangoon City has stopped cremating the COVID corpses as the number of deaths reached well over 3,000 a day and the crematoriums are frequently breaking down from the overload due to 24/7 running. And massive fuel costs also are troubling the cash-strapped Military Junta.

Yesterday, large backhoe excavators were seen digging the long-deep trenches as mass graves to bury the COVID victims in Yay-way and Htein-Bin cemeteries on Rangoon outskirts. Government also stops announcing the daily official COVID death numbers due to overwhelming number of deaths in private homes instead of hospitals.

The declared rational behind that news blackout was that without official confirmation of COVID positive test results they will not accept that the home deaths are genuinely COVID-related. Poor people of Burma do not have a choice to die in a hospital for they are forcefully being turned away from the hospitals. Burma under that bastard Min Aung Hlaing is truly becoming hell.

With vaccination, testing, treatment and social responsibility, in the near future, when someone gets Covid-19, our response can be very different from now. We are drawing up a road map to transit to this new normal.

We are continuing with our efforts to control the worrisome Delta variant of Covid-19. Given its high transmissibility, it will be hard to bring infections down to zero. Instead, we are adopting an aggressive ring-fencing strategy - casting a wide net to isolate contacts of infected persons, and testing tens of thousands every day. The aim is to minimise the risk of large clusters forming.
