Myanmar Army soldiers are going extremely brutal in Sagaing Division, the area of the strongest Burmese resistance against illegal military coup, killing and raping and mutilating the local populace.

One of the worst incidents recently was in the village of Tar Tine on March 1. Nearly 70-strong Myanmar Army mobile column from the notorious 99th Division coming along the River Irrawaddy landed at the Tar Tine Village by the confluence of Mu and Irrawaddy rivers in the early morning of March 1 and immediately raided the sleeping Burmese village.

The soldiers captured 15 villagers including the village PDF leader Kyaw Zaw and three young women. They then tortured and chopped Kyaw Zaw into multiple pieces right there in the village. They then took the rest 14 along with them and later raped and killed and mutilated all the hostages.

After gang-raping and killing the young women the soldiers even left their exposed vaginas stuffed with onions and other foreign stuff. The soldiers also chopped the heads of young men and hanged them from the road-side trees.

That mobile column was one of the army columns transported by Russain troop choppers in late February into the Sagaing Division. The columns were from the Meikhtila-based 99th Division with direct orders from Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing to commit absolute horrific acts among the civilian populace to frighten them to give up their armed resistance against the Myanmar Army.

The mobile column transported by Russian choppers and committing unspeakable atrocities in Sagaing Township is said to have captured a Buddhist monk famous for his brave sermons calling the people of Burma to rise up against the ruthless dictator Min Aung Hlaing.

On March-5 the column raided Let-kar-bin Village and captured the Pyi-gyi-da-gon Sayadaw and a few youths. The immediately dis-robed the monk and murdered him and dumped the body into the River Irrawaddy. More than seven youths were also tortured and murdered, but their bodies were recovered by the villagers. People were now trying to find the body of the monk.

That demonic column of mad Myanmar soldiers now has the notorious reputation of gang-raping and torturing and mutilation along their wandering paths all over Sagaing Township. Committing atrocities without impunity is their trademark for they were given kill orders direct from that mad dictator Min Aung Hlaing.
