at about 8 in the morning Russian-made two YAK-130 jet fighters dropped two
500-lb bombs right onto the opening ceremony of the new school in the Ba-zyi-gyi
village from the Sagaing Division’s Kantblu Township.
The massive bombs basically demolished the village hall and instantly vaporized all 50-odd village elders gathering inside for the ceremony. Immediately after the fighter jets two Russian-made Mi-35 helicopter gunships arrived and machinegunned and rocketed the village and killed nearly one hundred villagers including the school children who were having their free lunch happily in the temporary ceremony hall erected nearby.
Explosions and gun shots were so intense most corpses were just mutilated piles of body parts and innards. The carnage was so unbelievably brutal even the normally silenced UNSG Antonio Gutierrez and his Human-rights Commissioner Volker Turk both came out and publicly condemned the mad Myanmar dictator General Min Aung Haing.
