Battle of Mone-Koe (Mong-Ko) on Burma-China Border

Since 20^th November surprise attacks on the Muse Trading Post on Burma-China border by KIA-led Northern Alliance insurgents the nearby town Mone-Koe has been the scene of devastating battle and skirmishes between the defending Burmese army and the attacking ethnic insurgents.

Geographically the Mone-koe town is located right on the border line and surrounded by many hills of great heights ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 ft.  and the small town is down below in the valley. Since the beginning of hostilities on 20^th November the attacking Northern Alliance insurgents have held positions on six or seven hilltops overlooking the town and Burmese army defenders are holding their fortified positions on two low hills – Tactical Hill and Guard Hill - just outside the town.

Most of the town folks, the Chinese, have abandoned their homes and taken refuge in neighboring China while the rest, presumably Burmese and Shans, are now taking refuge in the army compound. Insurgents mainly in the town are relentlessly attacking the army while many insurgents on surrounding are blocking and thus preventing the army reinforcement from reaching the Burmese army units being trapped inside the town.

Somali Muslim Rammed & Stabbed OSU Students

Somali terrorist shot dead at Ohio State University (OSU).

There were multiple reports of an active shooter on the campus of Ohio State University Monday morning, but as it turned out, it was a planned terrorist attack by a Somali refugee.

Shortly before 10 a.m., the suspect, reported in the age range between 18 and 20, jumped a curb with his car and plowed into pedestrians in front of Watts Hall at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. When the vehicle came to a stop, the man leaped out and began a random stabbing spree with a butcher knife. Within a minute, a campus officer was on scene and neutralized the subject.

It is reported that the Somali man lived nearby the campus, but it wasn't clear at first if he was an OSU student. He is described as a “legal permanent resident of the U.S.”

At least nine people were reported injured, one critical, including stab wounds and being struck by the car. OSU sent out an “active shooter” message to students just after the attack, telling them to “Run Hide Fight.” The shelter-in-place directive was lifted shortly after the scene was under control and the remainder of the day’s classes were canceled. Initial reports included a second suspect, but now officials are saying the refugee acted alone.

Burmese Army Ready To Declare Emergency & A Coup

NAYPYIDAW — Burma’s military chief Snr-Gen Min Aung Hlaing discussed the provisions for a state of emergency and a potential military takeover of the country, amid an ongoing military conflict in northern Shan State and threats from Muslim militants in the west Burma.

It was the second time this month that the army chief mentioned the clause in Burma’s 2008 Constitution—which was also drafted by the military—that allows the military to stage a coup in the event of chaos and instability. The Constitution also reserves 25 percent of the seats in Parliament for military representatives.

In his speech at the National Defense College (NDC) on Saturday, the military chief justified the army’s continuing role in Burmese politics. The military is a stabilizing force on political and ethnic issues, he said.

KIA-Led Northern Insurgents Ambushing Cargo Trucks

KIA-led Northern Insurgents of four ethnic insurgent groups – KIA, MDNAA, TNLA, & AA – are in disarrays as Burmese Army’s counter attacks has dislodged them from the strategic positions in Muse and Mone-koe they were trying to hold since their surprise attacks on the Muse Trading Post and the surrounds.

Mone-koe situations is almost back to normal as Burmese army reinforcements has broke through the insurgents and linked up with army units doggedly defending the Mone-koe town for more than a week now. But the insurgents are still in the town while Army, police, and People Militia are holding all strategic positions such as the Army-Hills and Police Station.

Battles are still going on in Man-hane-gyi and Kyukoke-Pangsaing areas. But army is in the control of situation as massive reinforcement from LID-33 and Eastern Command are pouring into the small area on the China border despite insurgents’ many attempts to ambush the incoming army reinforcement on the Lashio-Muse Federal Highway.

Indonesian Muslims Do Not Want To Live With Infidels

In Jakarta violence between protestors and police broke out Friday night, November 4, 2016 when an estimated 200,000 Muslims emerged from Friday prayers in mosques to rally outside the Indonesian President’s palace. Clashes with police led to tear gas being used on demonstrators, and Indonesia’s president, Joko Widodo, had to postpone his planned visit to Australia to deal with the crisis.

The crowd was calling for the arrest of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, known as Ahok, the Chinese Christian governor of Jakarta, which is Indonesia’s capital and the largest city in the world’s fourth most populous nation. A video had gone viral showing Ahok referring in a speech to chapter 5, verse 51 of the Qur’an. He warned his listeners not to give credence to those who might try to deceive them with this verse or others like it.

Ahok has faced criticism before from hardline Muslims, who objected when he stood as Deputy Governor of Jakarta in 2012. Yet Ahok is very popular, and seems set to win the next gubernatorial election in February 2017. He previously took office as Governor in 2014 after Joko Widodo resigned his position as Jarkarta mayor to take up the Presidency of the nation.

The Houris: Islam’s ‘Sexual Superwomen’: Last month, when the battle for Mosul began, Islamic State “caliph” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi reportedly promised four extra Houris (supernatural, celestial women designed for sexual purposes)—atop the other 72 promised by prophet Muhammad—to all jihadis who die (are “martyred”) fighting the infidel forces, according to Arabic media accounts.

Al-Baghdadi did this during an extra “fiery sermon” wherein he recounted 15 hadiths and three stories dealing with the Houris in the context of the original Muslim conquest of Mosul, circa. 637, at the hands of Muhammad’s companions (the sahahba). 

After promising his followers that “blood will run like rivers in the [forthcoming] battle,” al-Baghdadi declared: “All, without exception, will enter paradise as martyrs.  Moreover, you will enter paradise with four more Houris than other martyrs.  For just as you stand by me now, so will they stand by you, or under you, or above you, so that you might forget what will happen to you by way of violence, death, and degradation in this war.”

While it is easy to dismiss this report as a hoax (among other things, it doesn’t explain why al-Baghdadi thinks they will get four more heavenly concubines), the problem is that Islam—from its history and doctrines, to the exhortation of its leaders, from Muhammad to al-Baghdadi—is full of stories and enticements concerning the Houris.

When I was young growing up in New York in the 1950s socialism was still considered a respectable political philosophy. Communism was more or less banned and socialists were accused of an affinity with Communism but the socialist concept still had many advocates. There were socialist governments in Western Europe and many industries there had been nationalized in the wake of the Second World War.

Socialism in the United States was no longer a mass movement but the idea that government should play some kind of role in economic life was not seen as strange or unusual. Socialists differed on just how extensive this role should be but all agreed that “natural monopolies” like the railroad, phone service and electricity should be nationalized.

Times have changed. Today in the United States there are not only competing phone companies but competing mail and package delivery companies, in effect competing post offices. It has become an article of faith that so-called “private enterprise”, meaning large corporations, are more efficient and productive than anything the government can do.

They also show that the overwhelming majority of French Muslims support jihad, and especially jihad against Israel, a country they would like to see erased from the face of earth.

"It is better to leave than flee." -- Sammy Ghozlan, President of the National Bureau of Vigilance against Anti-Semitism. He was later mugged, and his car was torched. He left. Villiers also mentions the presence in "no-go zones" of thousands of weapons of war. He adds that weapons will probably not even have to be used; the Islamists have already won.

Bill Clinton’s NAFTA Is Destroying US Economy

Back in the early 1990s, the North American Free Trade Agreement was one of the hottest political issues in the country.  When he was running for president in 1992, Democrat candidate Bill Clinton promised that NAFTA would result in an increase in the number of high quality jobs for Americans that it would reduce illegal immigration. 

Republican candidate Ross Perot warned that just the opposite would happen.  He warned that if NAFTA was implemented there would be a “giant sucking sound” as thousands of businesses and millions of jobs left this country.  Most Americans chose to believe Bill Clinton.  Well, it is 20 years later and it turns out that Perot was right and Clinton was dead wrong. 

But now history is repeating itself, and most Americans don’t even realize that it is happening.  As you will read about at the end of this article, Barack Obama has been negotiating a secret trade treaty that is being called “NAFTA on steroids”, and if Congress adopts it we could lose millions more good paying jobs.

Trade With China Is Killing American Workers

Researchers have found a troubling new cause of death for middle-aged white Americans. White Americans without a college degree are becoming more likely to die in middle age, reversing decades of progress toward better health.

Researchers first noticed this worrisome trend last year. They pointed to increases in opioid abuse, obesity and suicide among the causes of death, but what caused these increases has remained something of a mystery. This week, a pair of economists have advanced a new theory. They suggest that, for many workers, a major shift in the structure of the U.S. economy may have been fatal.

The researchers, Justin Pierce and Peter Schott, found evidence that trade with China has resulted in greater rates of suicide and poisonings (including fatal drug overdoses) after 2000, when President Clinton and Republican lawmakers allowed a major increase in imports.

Pierce and Schott suggest that as competition with Chinese manufacturing forced U.S. factories to close, many of the Americans who were laid off never got their lives back together. Instead, they fell into depression or addiction. White adults, in particular, suffered from the change in policy.

KIA, TNLA and MNDAA launch coordinated surprised attacks in Muse, Kutkai Townships.

The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), KIA, and the TNLA launched coordinated surprised attacks on military outposts, police stations and a trade centre in Muse and Kutkai Townships in Northern Shan State early morning yesterday, according to the Information Committee of the State Counsellor’s Office.

The attacks claimed lives of some security personnel as well as innocent people, according to the information committee. The attackers also tried to blow up three bridges I n the area, the committee said.

Two Chinese Submarines Delivered To Bangladesh

Two submarines added to Bangladesh armada. Bangladesh took delivery on Monday of its first submarines, bought from China, as it seeks to boost its naval power in the Bay of Bengal. Bangladesh navy chief Admiral Nizamuddin Ahmed received the submarines during a ceremony at Liao Nan Shipyard in Liaoning province’s Dalian city, according to a Inter Services Public Relation Directorate release.

The release, signed by ISPR spokeswoman Syed Taposhi Rabeya, reads the type 035G class submarines will become part of the country’s naval fleet at the beginning of next year. The submarines will be named BNS Nabajatra and BNS Joyjatra respectively. Bangladesh paid a reported $203m for the two submarines, a deal that reflects the country’s growing economic and defence ties with Beijing, reports AFP.

Type 035G-class submarines area, also known as Ming-class, is a class of diesel-electric submarines of the People’s Liberation Army Navy. Type 035G Ming-class is the most numerous variant. A total of 12 were built and commissioned between 1990 and 1999.They were built with further improvements, especially in terms of noise reduction, weapons, sensors and crew living standards.

KIA & Insurgent Allies Attacked Muse Trading Post

A Combined force of many hundreds from four ethnic insurgent groups – KIA (Kachin Independence Army), MDNAA (Myanmar Democratic National Alliance Army), TNLA (Talang National Liberation Army), AA (Arakan Army) – viciously attacked the Burmese Army and Police positions in the Muse area including the Burma-China border trading post at Muse 105 mile gate yesterday 21 November.

The insurgents tried to demolish major bridges on the main roads but Burmese army units responded and successfully defended the main communication link between Muse and the regional major town Kut-Khaing. Ethnic insurgents had then taken hold of a strategic hill in Mone-Koe and been preparing a strong defensive position there. The insurgents seemed not interested in holding strategic hill positions near Muse though.

Fortunately, because of last year surprise attacks by MDNAA in the neighbouring Kokang area, Burmese army has two light infantry divisions in the area and they immediately  responded with the support of mechanized infantry battalions already in the area. Insurgents’ inability to destroy bridges on the Kutkhaing-Muse Road basically had saved Burmese from a disaster both politically and militarily.

General James Mattis: Trump’s Defense Secretary?

Bedminster (United States) (AFP) – US President-elect Donald Trump praised James Mattis as a potential defense secretary Sunday, calling the retired military commander a “true general’s general” as he prepared to meet another batch of possible cabinet members at his New Jersey golf club.

“General James ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis, who is being considered for Secretary of Defense, was very impressive yesterday. A true General’s General!” Trump said on Twitter. The 66-year-old Mattis, who called Trump “the real deal” after their meeting Saturday, is a retired Marine Corps general who led the US Central Command from 2010-2013, overseeing the US withdrawal from Iraq and a surge in Afghanistan. A colorful combat commander and voracious reader, he has been quoted as saying, “Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet.”

Trump’s recent choices for other key posts — attorney general, national security adviser and chief White House strategist — have come under fire on civil rights grounds from Democrats and other critics.

General Michael Flynn: Fear Of Muslim Is Rational!

The West Is Finally Fighting Back against Militant Islam: General Michael Flynn has been offered the post of national security adviser in Donald Trump’s administration. Flynn is a senior intelligence officer and during the election campaign he was vociferous in his denunciation of Hillary Clinton, even leading the chants for her to be locked up.

He is also a long-standing critic of Obama’s military policies – or what he regards as the lack of them. In particular he has called for a fiercer response to Islamic State. He is on record as having said, “It’s rational to fear Muslims.” On the BBC’s Today Programme, the presenter Nick Robinson described Flynn’s statement as “controversial.”

So that’s the BBC’s assessment of what counts as controversial! How so when for decades Muslims have been shooting, bombing, dispossessing and otherwise terrorising people in large numbers on three continents?

Rohingya Terrorist Blew Up A Bank In Melbourne

The 21-year-old 'maniac' who doused himself in accelerant and set fire to a Commonwealth Bank branch is reportedly a Rohingya Muslim refugee from Myanmar in Australia on a bridging visa.

On Friday morning, the man became agitated after not having enough funds to withdraw money from the ATM at the Springvale branch in Melbourne's southeast and allegedly walked to the nearby Caltex service station to fill a plastic container with petrol. A witness told Daily Mail Australia he was 'loud and angry' when he returned minutes later to set fire to the ATM and the carpet inside the branch.

The man is believed to have travelled from Myanmar by boat in 2013 and was placed on Christmas Island before being transferred to Melbourne on a temporary visa, The Herald Sun reported. The man is believed to have been asked to apply for a Temporary Protection Visa so he could work and gain access to Medicare and Centrelink, but has not yet applied.

"The Obama administration turned a deaf ear to us and frankly, with President-elect Trump, we feel things are going to move in the right direction," Matthew LeBretton, New Balance's vice president of public affairs, told The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday.

Some customers (mainly the Muslims) took to social media to express their unhappiness with the company's stance and announced their plans to protest the move by boycotting or throwing out their New Balance shoes.

“A chorus of critics took to Twitter,” said the New York Times, “to lament what they said was a frightening normalization of the fringe views that Mr. Bannon promoted as the chairman of Breitbart News. The site has for years given voice to anti-Semitic, racist and white nationalist ideology.”

Republicans Now Control Almost Every State Legislature

(CNSNews.com) –   Republicans added to their historic 2014 gains in the nation’s state legislatures with the addition of five state House chambers and two state Senate chambers in last week’s election, while Democratic control was reduced to levels not seen since the Civil War.

Republicans are now in control of a record 67 (68 percent) of the 98 partisan state legislative chambers in the nation, more than twice the number (31) in which Democrats have a majority, according to the bipartisan National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL). 

“That’s more than at any other time in the history of the Republican Party,” according to NCSL. “They also hold more total seats, well over 4,100 of the 7,383, than they have since 1920.”

Next year, the GOP will control both legislative chambers in 32 states - an all-time high, according to NCSL - while Democrats will have total control of just 13 state legislatures. In 24 of the 32 states with Republican-controlled legislatures, voters have also elected Republican governors. In contrast, Democrats have a “political trifecta” in just six states.

Former 2016 presidential Democratic contender Bernie Sanders said he would be backing Keith Ellison – the first Muslim to be elected to the US Congress – for party’s leadership position. The Democratic Party has been reeling since its loss in the US elections last week that saw its candidate Hillary Clinton lose out to President-Elect Donald Trump. “I don't think the political establishment and the billionaires would like Keith Ellison as the DNC chair. Good! Join me in supporting Keith,” Sanders wrote.

According to the Washington Post, Ellison would represent a highly likely choice to be elected to the party’s chair position given his broad appeal to both sides of the party. “Ellison appeals to both of the party’s grassroots wings: the economic progressives who supported Bernie Sanders (whom Ellison endorsed) and social minority groups (Ellison was the first Muslim in Congress),” the Washington post reported.

QADIYA, Iraq — In the moments before he raped the 12-year-old girl, the Islamic State fighter took the time to explain that what he was about to do was not a sin. Because the preteen girl practiced a religion other than Islam, the Quran not only gave him the right to rape her — it condoned and encouraged it, he insisted.

He bound her hands and gagged her. Then he knelt beside the bed and prostrated himself in prayer before getting on top of her. When it was over, he knelt to pray again, bookending the long and painful rape with acts of religious devotion.

“I kept telling him it hurts — please stop,” said the girl, whose body is so small an adult could circle her waist with two hands. “He told me that according to Islam he is allowed to rape an unbeliever. He said that by raping me, he is drawing closer to Allah,” she said in an interview alongside her family in a refugee camp here, to which she escaped after 11 months of captivity.

The systematic rape of women and girls from the Yazidi religious minority has become deeply enmeshed in the organization and the radical theology of the Islamic State in the year since the group announced it was reviving slavery as an institution. Interviews with 21 women and girls who recently escaped the Islamic State, as well as an examination of the group’s official communications, illuminate how the practice has been enshrined in the group’s core tenets.

Trump To Designate Muslim Brotherhood A Terror Org.

Donald Trump will work to pass legislation designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, said Walid Phares, a foreign policy advisor for the president-elect.

Speaking to the Egyptian news outlet Youm7, Phares said the legislation, which was already approved by the House Judiciary Committee earlier this year and referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was held up due to the Obama administration’s support of the group.

Clarion Project spearheaded a campaign to educate legislators and move the bill forward over the past year.  The bill currently has bipartisan support. In November of 2015, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) introduced the bill, which identifies three Brotherhood entities in the U.S. including the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Russia’s New Main Battle Tank Is Raising Alarms in Europe: In further proof that the American election season has caused people far outside the borders of the U.S. to stress out, a British newspaper has uncovered a government document detailing a major concern about the ability of NATO forces to contend with Russia’s newest tank on the battlefield, particularly if those forces are suddenly short of American assistance.

The concerns spiked earlier this year, when Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump floated the idea of extracting the U.S. from its commitments to the transatlantic alliance which has helped keep the peace in Europe for the past seven decades.

The Telegraph newspaper reports that British military analysts are particularly concerned about the ability of British and European forces to contend with the new Armata T-14 tank that Russia rolled out last year under President Vladimir Putin’s sharp increase in spending on military hardware.

The evidence is mounting that President Obama’s overzealous defense of his “opening Cuba” gambit cost Hillary Clinton the state of Florida. That misstep could end up wiping out most of the president’s carefully curated “legacy” achievements.

For the president and his young Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes, the establishment of diplomatic relations with one of the world’s last communist dictatorships became something they weirdly defended from any criticism. Even the smallest amendment that watered down coddling the Castros drew fulminating threats of vetoes from the White House.

Defeated Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton is not about to go quietly into that good night. On the morning after her surprising and unanticipated defeat at the hands of Republican Party upstart Donald Trump, Mrs. Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, entered the ball room of the art-deco New Yorker hotel in midtown Manhattan and were both adorned in purple attire.

The press immediately noticed the color and asked what it represented. Clinton spokespeople claimed it was to represent the coming together of Democratic Blue America and Republican Red America into a united purple blend. This statement was a complete ruse as is known by citizens of countries targeted in the past by the vile political operations of international hedge fund tycoon George Soros.

The Clintons, who both have received millions of dollars in campaign contributions and Clinton Foundation donations from Soros, were, in fact, helping to launch Soros’s Purple Revolution in America. The Purple Revolution will resist all efforts by the Trump administration to push back against the globalist policies of the Clintons and soon-to-be ex-President Barack Obama. The Purple Revolution will also seek to make the Trump administration a short one through Soros-style street protests and political disruption.

Merkel Loves Muslims So Much She Offers Turks Asylum

Not fully satisfied yet with last year’s massive “asylum” invasion, the Angela Merkel regime has now made an unconditional offer of asylum to all Turks who claim that they have been “persecuted” by Turkey’s government following the failed coup in that country.

The offer is likely to spark off a new wave of hundreds of thousands of nonwhites claiming to be Turks flooding into Germany, just as the “asylum” offer to “Syrians” sparked off a similar invasion in 2015.

According to the Bayern Depesche newspaper in Germany, the government has “announced a generous asylum-grant for Turks who have been exposed to repressive measures by the Turkish authorities since the failed coup of July 15.”

Leonard Cohen, The Legendary Poet, Dead At 82

Canadian singer, songwriter and poet Leonard Cohen, whose voice was as golden as his lyrics were moving, has died, Sony Music confirmed on his Facebook page Thursday. He was 82. Cohen’s death comes just weeks after the release of his 14th studio album, “You Want It Darker” ― a befitting final farewell on which he sings plainly and beautifully about death knocking at his door.

“Hineni, hineni, I’m ready my Lord,” Cohen laments on the album’s self-titled track. (“Hineni” is Hebrew for “here I am,” which is how Abraham answered when God commanded that he sacrifice his son Isaac in the Bible’s Old Testament.) “I’m leaving the table. I’m out of the game,” Cohen sings on another new track.

In his review late October, National Public Radio Rock Critic Ken Tucker declares the album is “less a summing up than a living will, complete with gifts for how to negotiate a life for maximum passion.”

Donald Trump won a Republican White House, Senate and House because he led a rebellion against the Democrats’ embrace of Silicon Valley’s business model, which profits from global trade, offshore labor and foreign skilled workers.

Despite all the hoopla about supposedly booming American high-tech jobs, globalization and the rise of China since the early 1990s have the cost the United States about 5.8 million in U.S. manufacturing jobs, about one third of the sector’s total workforce.

A huge portion of the jobs loss is due to giant Silicon Valley technology corporations’ offshoring of the vast majority of their business operations. As a result, the U.S. annual balance for advanced technology products sales has fallen from a $35 billion surplus in 1992 to a $92 billion deficit at the end in 2015.

As major government contractors, Silicon Valley corporations for decades maintained a neutral stance on political lobbying and campaign contributions. But TechCrunch blog nicknamed Silicon Valley the “Valley of the Democrats,” after PayPal co-Founder and top venture capitalist Peter Thiel reported in an interview last year that over 83 percent of political contributions by the area’s tech executives went solely to Democrats.

President-elect Donald Trump removed the statement on his website calling on a temporary ban on Muslims from entering the United States, reported the Independent. The statement was apparently taken down on election day morning.

Less than a month after the horrific attacks in Paris in November of 2015, Trump called for a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering America until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.” Trump cited a Pew Research poll, among others, that indicated “there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population."

Vegas Oddsmaker Predicts Brexit-like Trump Victory. I’m the only national political commentator (and Vegas oddsmaker) who has predicted a Brexit-like election result for Donald Trump since day one.

I’ve stuck with my prediction through thick and thin, through derision, through laughter, through polls showing Hillary leading by 13 points, through every “expert” predicting a Hillary landslide up until only two weeks ago. Don’t look now, but I’m about to look very smart. All the ingredients have fallen perfectly into place for “Trexit,” our own version of Brexit starring Donald Trump.

My final prediction? It’s the same one I told personally to Donald Trump a week ago. I was opening speaker at Trump’s rally in Las Vegas in front of 10,000 fans. Therefore, slavery or having sex with children or beating one's wife, or calling rapes that do not have four witnesses adultery the punishment for which is death, or a woman officially having half the worth of a man, are all "human rights."

Soft jihad includes rewriting history as with the UNESCO vote claiming that ancient Biblical monuments such as Rachel's Tomb or the Cave of the Patriarchs are Islamic, when historically Islam did not even exist until the seventh century; migration to widen Islam (hijrah), as we are seeing now in Europe and Turkish threats to flood Germany with migrants; cultural penetration such as promoting Islam in school textbooks or tailoring curricula for "political correctness"; political and educational infiltration, as well as intimidation (soft jihad with the threat of hard jihad just underneath it).

Mysterious Sea-floor “Ping” From Canadian Arctic

Mysterious 'ping' sound from sea floor baffles Igloolik. Sometimes called a beep, a ping, or a hum, the sound is blamed for scaring away animals. The mysterious sound has been noted by hunters in the area of Hecla and Fury Strait, a rich hunting ground that they say was empty this year.

Hunters in a remote community in Nunavut are concerned about a mysterious sound that appears to be coming from the sea floor. The "pinging" sound, sometimes also described as a "hum" or "beep," has been heard in Fury and Hecla Strait — roughly 120 kilometres northwest of the hamlet of Igloolik — throughout the summer.

Paul Quassa, a member of the legislative assembly, says whatever the cause, it's scaring the animals away. "That's one of the major hunting areas in the summer and winter because it's a polynya," an area of open water surrounded by ice that's abundant with sea mammals, he said. "And this time around, this summer, there were hardly any. And this became a suspicious thing."

Something Big Is Underway On All Fronts: “Within The Next Few Weeks The Future Of The United States Will Be Decided.” As of this writing, the increased U.S. troop presence in Eastern Europe includes a battalion-sized element of American troops being emplaced in the Suwalki Gap, Polish territory that borders Lithuania in a 60-mile stretch of corridor. 

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that 600 Russian and Belarussian airborne troops conducted training exercises in Brest, on the Belorussian-Polish border only a few miles from where the U.S. forces are deploying in Poland.  This on the heels of Britain deploying 800 men, tanks, and jets to Estonia, along with pledges of Challenger 2 tanks, APC’s (Armored Personnel Carriers), and drones.  Two companies of French and Danish Soldiers will join the British in the deployment to Estonia.

For the first time since 1945, Norway has violated its treaty with Russia (then the Soviet Union) not to station foreign troops on its soil.  A company of U.S. Marines will soon be stationed for a 6-month deployment in Norway. The situation is heating up in Ukraine, according to a report on fort-russ.com entitled Ukraine Moves Massive Force up to Lugansk Frontline, published October 28, 2016.
