Laukkai Has Surrendered: Kokang Is Now China's

The locals called themselves Kokang Shans of the border lands, but their native language is Chinese Mandarin, Chinese Yuan is their money, all utilities including electricity, water, and telecommunications come straight across the borderline from the Yunan State of China.They always are the ethnic Chinese and now they get their lands back from pesky Burmese after three months long war.

Laukkai, the capital city of kokang and the notorious epicenter of billion dollars cyber scams, has surrendered to the Kokang army of Chinese-armed rebels the MNDAA. More than 3000-strong Myanmar Army divisions with mountainous stockpile of deadly weapons had just surrendered without a serious fight to more than ten thousands strong MNDAA on January-5.

Myanmar Army supposedly was determined to hold on Laukkai and thus steadily strengthened the city with five infantry divisions namely ROC-Laukkai, LID-55, MOC-12, MOC-14, and MOC-16 altogether more than three thousands troops supported by heavy artillery and Myanmar Air Force.

But their weakness is their families who are all living with their soldier-husbands as a Myanmar Army’s strict policy and they all knew that once a serious figh started the enemy would not spare their spouses and children. It would be massive massacre as it happened frequently in other fallen army posts and finally Myanmar Army’s Northeastern Military Command (Ya-ma-kha) was forced to agree to their surrender to MNDAA.

Followings is the summarized-list of surrendered army personel and their assorted weapons.

From ROC-Laukkai; 228 officers and 1895 other ranks. 79 semi-automatic pistols and 1964 automatic assault rifles.

From LID-55; 98 officers. 752 other ranks. 30 semi-automatic pistols and 850 automatic assault rifles.

From MOC-12; 15 officers. 90 other ranks. 8 semi-automatic pistols and 80 automatic assault rifles.

From MOC-14; 25 officers. 233 other ranks. 15 semi-automatic pistols and 210 automatic assault rifles.

From MOC-16; 80 officers. 750 other ranks. 20 semi-automatic pistols and 750 automatic assault rifles.

From Brigade-16; 10 officers. 70 other ranks. 6 semi-automatic pistols and 74 automatic assault rifles.

All Myanmar Army personnel and their families led by Brigadier-General Moe Kyaw Thu the CO of ROC-Laukkai and five other brigadier-generals were disgracefully shipped in ten huge packed-cattle trucks to Lashio the Capital of Shan-North Region as agreed between the defeated Myanmar Army and the victorious MNDAA.

The shameful surrender-agreement signed by all six brigadier-generals of Myanmar Army included the watertight promise that Myanmar Army will never interfere again in the political, economic, administartive, and military affairs of Kokang Region ever. Altogether US$75 millions worth of weapons and equipment were also given up to MNDAA.

As the Union Flags of Myanmar were dropped and the MNDAA flags were raised all over the liberated city of Laukkai on January-5, the independent Kokang is now a fringe part of the People Republic of China. China’s proxy war has won and China gains a sizeable territory as the Union of Burma is slowly collapsing.

MNDAA has already started kicking the ethnic Burmese out of Laukkai and other parts of their Kokang Region while forcefully been recruiting every Kokang, Shan, and Kachin males aged 10-35 they can lay their hands on. Thanks to that Motherfucker Min Aung Hlaing and his foolish Coup which basically destroyed his own fucking army and began the tragic but eventual break-up of Burma.
